Whether cliff surveys, confined space access or working on water we can offer a survey or inspection solution.
Increasing awareness of health and safety risks are dominating the civil engineering project world. Our team has a diverse range of project experience and training to meet these requirements. Through soecific team training and strong long-term partnerships we have access to a range of specialist teams to assist in rope access, confined space access and rescue and Culvert access and CCTV. Our own team offers substantial experience in operating vessels on inland waterways as well as coastal and inshore waters.
Where access is particularly difficult or photographic/videographic records are required, our UAV team is always available to assist. With experience at working on a wide range of projects on the UK mainland and Channel Islands.
We have undertaken projects in the following environments;
- The precise measurement of complex cliff structures for construction in Cornwall. This project used non-contact survey methodologies as well as roped access teams to ensure complete coverage.
- The survey and inspection of reservoir drain-down culverts beneath three embankment dams in Devon. The project utilised our confined space access and Rescue team and specialist measurement equipment to create a full 3 Dimensional model of the culverts.
- The Hydrographic survey of over a 1Km of the river Exe in Devon to assist in flood defence work. The project utilised our own small survey launch and single beam echo-sounding equipment.
- The UAV Aerial LiDAR Survey of 450 acres of mountainous terrain in Mid Wales using our in house CAA registered UAV team.
- The UAV Aerial Survey of 4Km of coastal assets for a Ports and Harbours client to assess coastal defence conditon and position.
- The combined multi-beam bathymetric and UAV photogrammetric survey of coastal assets in the Channel Islands to assess conditon and storm damage.
